In these troubled times it never hurts to be prepared, especially when it comes to where you’re travelling in the world. That is why we were thrilled to see that The Economist had released a list of the top 10 safest cities in the world based on personal, digital, health and infrastructure security. Here are the very proud winners:
1. Tokyo, Japan
Although it’s a complicated scoring process, Tokyo – rather unsurprisingly – came first in the running with a score of 89.8. This was based on the fact that they rank the highest in the world for digital security, second for health, fourth for personal safety and twelfth for infrastructure.
