As much as we might be inclined to believe otherwise, Hollywood isn’t as big as it looks. Therefore, it turns out that quite often some stars end up becoming next door neighbours, even if they make for a rather odd pairing. Here are just a few of our favourite unlikely celebrity neighbours:
1. Meryl Streep and Gwyneth Paltrow
Now this is a celebrity neighbourhood I would want to move to: Gwyneth Paltrow on one side to offer her wacky lifestyle advice and then Meryl Streep on the other just being her legendary self. We can just imagine them having the most fascinating – albeit ridiculously healthy – dinner parties.

2. Kendall Jenner and Jimmy Fallon
In typical Jimmy Fallon fashion, he made no secret of letting Kendall Jenner know that she caused quite the uproar when she moved to his neighbourhood, just off the Sunset Strip in LA, due to the huge amount of press attention she brought with her. Yet when she appeared on his show the two seemed the best of friends and were of course able to laugh about it.

As far as New York real estate is concerned it doesn’t get much better than a park view from the San Remo building, which is where all three of these legends reside.

4. Miley Cyrus and Kanye West & Kim Kardashian
So, despite there being some rumoured animosity about Miley Cyrus photoshopping pictures of her face on to photographs of Kim and Kanye’s daughter North, it turns out that these three are actually neighbours, all residing in the same Hidden Hills neighbourhood in Calabasas.

5. Ellen DeGeneres and Hugh Hefner
Whilst it might be some people’s idea of heaven, we’re guessing that living next door to the Playboy Mansion might not be all that exciting when you’re being kept up until the early hours by Hugh Hefner’s infamous parties. However, it seems Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi aren’t all that fussed. I guess having acres of land between you and your neighbour’s house might have its perks after all.

You’ve got to tip your hat to anyone who can remain friends with their ex, let alone move next door to them! However, when it comes to Liz Hurley and Hugh Grant they are apparently the best of friends now that they’re no longer together so it made perfect sense.

For those who aren’t familiar, Ant and Dec are considered television-presenting royalty in the United Kingdom and have been inseparable ever since their first appearance on television in Biker Grove, back in 1989. Therefore, it appears they thought, ‘why stop there?’ and consequently decided to buy houses next to each other in Chiswick.
