I don’t think there can be a person on the planet who would be able to resist the delightful charms and jovial antics of our favourite actress Jennifer Lawrence. Here is a girl that certainly hasn’t let the pressures of Hollywood go to her head and is consequently proving that it is possible, not only to not take yourself too seriously even if you are earning millions of dollars per movie, but also that there is nothing more important in life than goofing around with your best pals.
Is there any way on earth someone can have it all? Here’s quite a few reasons why Jennifer Lawrence might just be the closest a celebrity has ever come to being our dream best friend.
1. She is hilarious – with a capital ‘H’.
This first point is somewhat of a no-brainer but it has to be examined nonetheless. You just have to type Jennifer Lawrence’s name into Google to be flooded with a plethora of images of her funny faces and rude hand gestures, which she tends to use to her advantage if an interview needs a bit of spicing up.
This, we can imagine, is great for keeping her colleagues entertained and also great for underlining that being popular does not mean keeping quiet and worrying about what people think anymore. The times have changed, J-Law style.

2. She has set up ‘The Jennifer Lawrence Foundation’.
Just when we thought we couldn’t love Jennifer Lawrence any more, we find out she has her own foundation that helps a range of different charities to raise awareness and essential funds worldwide.
Just a few of these include ‘Feeding America’, ‘ The World Food Programme’, ‘The Thirst Project’ and many more. Where does she find the time?

3. She’s Against the ‘Size Zero’ Phenomenon.
In many a refreshing interview, Jennifer has declared that she has no interest in starving herself for a role or indeed giving the impression to young girls it’s an ‘ok’ thing to do.
She is very open about the fact that some people in Hollywood may not think she is slim enough, but she doesn’t care. And you know what Jennifer, you look amazing, so keep doing what you’re doing.

4. She Falls Over Like a Normal Person.
Who can forget one of the most cringe worthy moments of Oscars history? Poor Jennifer; it was the greatest moment of her professional life; her name was called for ‘Best Supporting Actress 2013’; she happily went up to collect her award looking stunning and radiant. And then… She tripped as she was walking up the steps to the podium. We all froze for a moment, before she proceeded to laugh the whole thing off and consequently received a massive applause from all her counterparts. Now that is the classy way to laugh off embarrassment.

5. She is incredibly talented and actually makes really good films.
In terms of talent, J-Law’s 2013 Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook, speaks for itself and I’m sure that isn’t the last time we’ll hear her name mentioned favourably at awards season. On top of this, who doesn’t love a good fantasy trilogy and The Hunger Games is certainly that, grossing millions upon millions on every installment. All very much down to Jennifer’s portrayal of Katniss Everdeen, we’re sure.

6. She can get us backstage Coldplay tickets.
So, even though they have yet to be officially photographed together, rumour has it that Jennifer is dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Now that could come in very handy for us as a potential best friend, seeing as Coldplay are one of the hardest bands in the world to get tickets for.
If you take a look at the pic below you can just about spot Chris in the background of this picture at the ‘I Heart Radio Awards’ last year. I’m afraid that’s the best we can do for now as they are apparently trying to keep a low profile but just you wait.

7. She has access to an abundance of handsome co-stars.
Well, it had to be said didn’t it? There is no denying that Jennifer’s on-screen love interests have been very easy on the eye. In particular, her Hunger Games co-star Mr Liam Hemsworth. It’s a tough job but I guess someone’s got to do it.

8. And a special mention for Bradley Cooper.
Apparently these two have never seen romance blossom off-screen, which we find incredibly difficult to get our heads around. But if that’s what it takes for them to continually star alongside each other and be snapped together on the red carpet then we’re absolutely fine with that.
Furthermore, if Jen ever needs someone to step in and go on a date with him – as a best friend favour – we’re more than happy to do so.

9. She has a wardrobe to die for.
Though she’d probably be the last one to brag about it, J-Law most likely has a collection of stylish outfits to rival our wildest dreams. She is never seen on a red carpet looking anything less than perfection and being the spokesperson for Christian Dior certainly helps.
Even in her day-to-day wear she still manages to look effortlessly beautiful so Jennifer, please spread your knowledge and teach us how it’s done.

10. She isn’t afraid to have fun.
There are so many times in life when we find ourselves getting stressed out and taking it all way too seriously. This is probably even more amplified in the celebrity world with filming, press junkets, photo-shoots, red carpet appearances and all manner of things to psyche yourself up for.
